TOPDEK Media West Africa Limited is a private company established to cater for the modern media and communication needs of our society.They also trade and carry on the business of general contact, general supply, trading, marketing, sales and distribution of general goods be they manufactured or not, commission agents, manufacturers representative, import, export and general merchandise. TOPDEK CEO desired an Ecommerce website so he could take his business online, so he reached out to me.

For this to be done I had to develop different sides to the website. The first was to develop the home page, the login portal and the main ecommerce page. The development was done with the use of HTML, CSS, Javascript & PHP languages. Topdek gave me their Logo and brand colours before we started the project for guidance.

In the development I had to use sliders so that users can see a couple of their products without having to leave the main page. I also created the login page using HTML and CSS, and I used PHP for the Login protocol to collect info from users who register or Login in order to grant them access. Because it’s an ecommerce site that has different products, I had to organize the various elements using columns (with Col tags), containers etc. so that the page doesn’t stress the users visually. Also, I embedded icons in the websites for social media using SVG’s. I installed bootstrap, google fonts using the “link” tag as this helps me use their features on the website.

When I was done with the project, I Zipped the file which had the scripts and assets for the projects and mailed it to Topdek. They loved the outcome and would soon upload the site so it could go live on the internet.
