This is really about the front-end development of my website/portfolio. I’m a Google Certified UX designer that specializes in Interaction Design & Visual Design. I’m also a Graphic Designer & Front-End Designer. One of the things they teach at the google course is the value of having a portfolio. The lucky thing here is that I was already a front-end developer so it was easy and cost effective for me to develop the website myself.

Simplicity is one of the great things I learnt from the google course, it helps your page load faster and gives a cleaner and more balanced design so it was one of my main focuses. On the project the languages I used for coding are HTML, CSS and Javascript. I installed bootstrap using the “link” tag because it helps ease my development process.

On the home page I used the “Section” to create the different sections of the websites and I linked them to the right tabs, for example if you click on the testimonials tab at the nav-bar area it would take you to the testimonial section on the home page. Due to my variety of skills, my work section has about 6 parts that have 2 to 3 sub parts of each one. I had to think of a creative way to keep viewers on the same page while having to preview all my works and this was done when I used modals in my HTML code. I also used SVG’s for icons in the contact section. The icons were added to my script then further linked to my social media pages. Front End Development is usually broad as there are many lines of codes I used but I had to summarize it all here so that this write up doesn’t become bogus.

Did you solve the issue? The website was absolutely great because I was able to develop what I really desired for the project, giving me a more professional look in the Tech Industry. Developing this website also gives viewers a platform to know more about me and my works.
